Inspired by the vibrant and delicious fusion of Vietnamese cuisine, Jardin Tan is hosting a tour Around Vietnam on August 24th.
Around Vietnam will take you on a journey of the five pillars of Vietnamese cuisine – sweet, spicy, sour, salty, and most importantly, fish-sauce! We’ll be travelling all over the country, exploring the varied nature of Vietnamese food by showcasing the unique dishes that come from each region.
Historic colonialism, international trading routes and neighbouring countries have influenced the food of Vietnam for thousands of years. The result? One of the most varied and exciting cuisines in the world. The combination of these global forces with native herbs, aromatics and tradition, has resulted in some of our favourite foods.
The evening will be served buffet-style and consists of a raw section, soup & curries, BBQ, salads, and sweets. A sample menu is included below. Beverages will be able to purchase on the night.
